Laurus Nobilis Music Famalicão

It is with great pleasure I announce here that blog Metal Em Portugal has been invited to be part of a musical event that will take place in Louro, Famalicão (Portugal), from July 24th to July 26th. The press conference took place today at local parish council and it officially marked the event that will bring many music lovers to a region known as the birth of so many Rock/Alternative Rock bands in local scene.

Named "Laurus Nobilis Music Famalicão", the event was idealized by Associação Cultural do Louro and has the main purpose of music celebration. Counting with experienced partners in the music scene is goal is to provide to the visitors three days full of music, organized as follow:

Friday (July 24th) - Heavy Metal/Alternative Rock day

Saturday (July 25th) - Rock day

Sunday (July 26th) - Popular and traditional music day

I can now give some names in advance that will take part of the event:

The Waterboys, The Doors in concert, Lux Yuri, Éden, Ramp, More Than a Thousand, Mão Morta are some of the bands that will play in the first two days of the event. Third day will be free entrance and dedicated to more traditional sounds, played by popular musicians and folk groups. As for the schedule and tickets it will be as follow:

24th - opening gates at 18H00; concerts start at 20H00 and finish at 02H00.

Daily ticket: 17€

25th - opening gates at 18H00; concerts start at 20H00 and finish at 02H00.

Daily ticket: 23€

Two days ticket: 30€

26th - opening gates at 12H00; concerts start at 14H00 and finish at 22H00.

Daily ticket: free entrance

Note: tickets price will maintain until July 10th, when it will change to a higher value.
