OneLegMan - Do You Really Think This World Was Made For You

Do You Really Think This World Was Made For You?"

From Northern Italy comes a conceptual album whose theme centers in personal and daily experiences of those who passed for tragic moments in theirs lives and the way those events work changes in ourselves. For that and for coming from the same region, OneLegMan dedicate "Do You Really Think This World Was Made For You?" to the victims of 2012’s earthquake that stroke the region of Emilia-Romagna, in Northern Italy. Presenting themselves as an Alternative Metal band, since early days they were acclaimed by the media due to debut EP, opening ways to a full length debut called "The Crack" (2011); the work’s quality made them appear in Century Media and Nuclear Blast roosters which enabled them to share stages with The Misfits, Lacuna Coil, Cynic, Deep Purple, among others. After we listen to this new work and compare them to previous ones we can easily perceive the band’s evolution regarding musical composition. Maintaining the Alternative Rock/Metal base that best describes them (to which they add Nu, Stoner and Prog elements) they focused more in melody/lyrics, also because of the chosen theme, elevating the musical quality and, at the same time, giving a Dark Rock aura. As an album it’s musically well structured, lyrically scaled regarding the storyline and with a joyful rhythmic base with opposes (well) the thematic. Without a doubt a good choice for fans of Stone Sour or Korn.
