Israel é um daqueles países donde se conhecem poucos nomes de bandas de metal; sem dúvidas que os Orphaned Land serão a banda mais internacional de todas. Mas para além deles outros esforçam-se por ver o seu trabalho reconhecido além-fronteiras; uma dessas bandas são os Sintax.
A sua origem remonta a 2010 quando ex-membros dos Shwortsechay e Birth decidiram juntar forças para criarem uma super banda (dentro dos critérios Israelitas) cuja sonoridade pende para um groove/thrash pleno de força e agressividade (é clara a influência dos Pantera e Slayer nas composições). Riffs demolidores, passagens orelhudas e uma contagiante energia são os pontos fortes deste coletivo. Contam com apenas um trabalho intitulado “Sway For A Better Day”, lançado de forma independente no início do ano passado em CD de edição limitada (pode ser adquirido através da loja da banda aqui), e que a partir do próximo dia 17 vai ser disponibilizado em formato digital através da Editora Finlandesa Inverse Records.
As 8 faixas de “Sway For A Better Day” mostram uma banda madura e com muito potencial para se afirmarem a nível internacional. Esta parceria com a Inverse Records serve mesmo para isso, quem sabe a editora não aposta mesmo numa reedição do álbum em suporte físico? Fica a sugestão.

Israel is one of those countries from where fewer names of metal bands are known; without a doubt Orphaned Land are probably the most international of them all. But beyond them others strive to see their work known worldwide; one of those bands are Sintax.
Their origin goes back to 2010 when ex members of Shwortsechay e Birth decided to combine forces and create a super band (for Israeli standards) whose sonority leans to a groove/thrash full of strength and aggressiveness (it's obvious the influence of Pantera and Slayer in the compositions). Demolishing riffs, catchy parts and contagious energy are the strong points of this collective. They have only one work called "Sway For A Better Day", released independently in the beginning of last year as a limited edition CD (can be acquired in the band's shop here) and from next June 17th forth will be available in digital format through Finnish label Inverse Records.
The 8 tracks of "Sway For A Better Day" show a mature band and with a lot of potential to assert themselves in an international level. This partnership with Inverse Records serves just that, maybe the label will think of a re-release of the album in CD, who knows? Is a suggestion.
